The Malopolska Region’s authorities are responsible for formulation and implementation of the overall regional development strategy. Information society is an important part of it.

The Malopolska Region understands well the decisive role of information society development for the region’s success. It is therefore introducing, coordinating, or participating in a few breakthrough projects for the regional information society development.

The region is open for international cooperation and is striving to create business-friendly environment for IT/ITO/BPO undertakings. The objective is to make Malopolska strong IT hub in Central Europe.
